It's great to see that Compu-Gen has created this forum. Thanks for giving me and others the chance to sound off on the issues that Compu-Gen seems to feel are important. I believe a local community of graphics professionals and technology specialists can greatly bless the Williamsport community.

I'll probably discuss this issue more on other sections of this forum, but for now let me say that I believe a local club for graphics and web professionals would be great for meeting colleagues and clients. Any advice on how to create such a club would be appreciated.

Finally, there are not enough members in this forum. We need to recruit new members, and I'm willing to help to find them if I can.

I agree completely. I'm working on another community for Williamsport related things, but its a side project of mine so who knows when it will launch...

If you'd like, Joe, feel free to create your own group and see if you can get some members to join... This is a start.

The key is awareness, and in my opinion Williamsport is completely unaware of much of its own talent. A pity, because the talent usually relocates to areas more "culturally" aware - which has become my stopping point - how to make Williamsport more aware.

Rob, I think I will place an ad in Webb Weekly to see if I can generate interest in a local design club. I may create a page that provides the club details on my website and post the URL on the ad.
