How to Export Video from a Hikvision NVR

Export Video Directly from the NVR

1. Insert a USB drive into the NVR.
2. Right-click the live view and select Menu.
3. Open Export. On some systems, this may appear under File Management.
4. Select the camera, date, and time range.
5. Select the clips or files you need.
6. Click Export.
7. Select the desired file format.
8. Wait for the Export completed message before removing the drive.

Export Using iVMS-4200

1. Open iVMS-4200 and connect to the NVR.
2. Go to Playback.
3. Select the camera and time range.
4. Use the clip tool to select the desired segment.
5. Click Export.
6. Choose a destination folder and file format.
7. Confirm the export.

Export Using Hik-Connect

1. Open Playback in Hik-Connect.
2. Select the camera.
3. Navigate to the desired time.
4. Tap the download icon to save the clip.
